Dr. Malebana ML
Dr. Malebana Madira is a Paediatrician and a Paediatric palliative care practitioner with interest in both curative and palliative medicine.
She completed her MBChB (University of Kwa-Zulu Natal, MMED Paediatrics (University of Free State), Post graduate Diploma in palliative medicine paediatrics (University of Cape Town), Post graduate Diploma in interdisciplinary pain management (University of Cape Town). She is currently doing Masters in philosophy (MPHIL) in palliative medicine (University of Cape Town).
She is a member of PATCHSA (Palliative Care for Children South Africa) and PALPAC (The association of Palliative Care Practitioner of South Africa). She aims to improve the quality of life of patients living with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions and their families, by taking in to account their biopsychosocial and spiritual needs. Her main interest is in Pain and its management.
She is also a lecturer at The University of Limpopo Medical School as she also pursues her interest of educating the upcoming generation of Medical Doctors in the country.
Her area of interests are in Neonatal conditions, Respiratory illnesses, Gastrointestinal diseases, Neurological conditions, Acute & chronic pain management, Palliative and end of life care.
Dr. Malebana TH
Dr. Thabo Malebana is a qualified Obstetrician and Gynaecologist, and a fellow in Obstetrics & Gynaecology.
He obtained his undergraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery degree (MBCHB) from the University of Limpopo, Medunsa campus. He was admitted to the fellowship College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of South Africa and where he later completed his Master of Medicine in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at University of Limpopo.
Dr Malebana has a wealth of experience in Obstetrics as he previously worked as a medical officer in the Department of Obstetrics from 2016 until he completed his fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He is a senior lecturer at The University of Limpopo Medical School as he also pursues his interest of educating the upcoming generation of Medical Doctors in the country.
His interests are in Obstetrics, General Gynaecology, Antenatal Care & Post-delivery care, Management of Pre-malignancy screening, Endoscopy and Reproductive Medicine
